I am absolutely crazy about this DIY hydrangea door hanger that we made recently! I got this idea as I was strolling down a street in the French Quarter in New Orleans on my anniversary trip with my hubby. I saw hydrangea balls hanging from the front gate of a home and I thought they would make the cutest door hanger. These are so easy to make and they really make a huge statement. You could use them in so many ways…on a front door, as wedding decor, you could even make the balls into a topiary. There are so many possibilities!
What you will need for this DIY hydrangea door hanger:
- Hydrangeas (Assorted Colors – Can use Stems or Bushes)
- 2″ or 4″ Styrofoam Balls
- Embroidery Hoop
- Burlap ribbon or any ribbon of your choice
- Wire Cutters
- Florist Wire
- Glue Gun
- Glue Sticks
- Bowdabra Bow Maker (optional)
