Want to make a super easy bow with your ribbon scraps? Well, you are in luck because this is the absolute easiest bow you will ever make and it literally takes just a couple of minutes to create!
I will show you step by step how to make a bow the easy way. You can use this ribbon bow on gifts, door hangers and wreaths. You can use any color combination of ribbon of your choice and it will look cute. I prefer to mix some wired ribbon with non-wired ribbon, but you can really make it using either. This bow is great to make if you have a bunch of scrap ribbon, and I love the “funky” look of mixing patterns!
Here is a cute bunny wreath that I made and added these bows. I also LOVE adding these bows to gift packages!

What you will need for this easy bow:
- Assorted ribbon scraps & pieces
- Twine or thin ribbon
To make this easy bow, first you will want to pre-cut your ribbon pieces. I cut mine 9 inches, but it will really depend on how large or small you want you bow. Next, you will place your widest two ribbons into an “x”. I like using burlap or a thick ribbon for my first two ribbons because I think it really gives the bow a good, sturdy shape.
Then, you will repeat with your next ribbons until you have all of your ribbons stacked on top of each other in an “X” formation.
Next, you will take a piece of twine or thin ribbon, and place on top of your stacked ribbons.
Then, you will flip over your ribbons and tie the twine tightly around the stack of ribbons.
And that is it, the easiest bow you will ever make, and it is so cute! Watch my step by step video below on how I make this bow.
