It seems like no matter what I do that nasty scum is looking me straight in the eye…taunting me…”you’ll never get me…” Ha! Who doesn’t love cheap, right?
DAWN DETERGENT + VINEGAR = BEST HOMEMADE SHOWER CLEANER
What you will need:
- Dawn Detergent (need to be the blue kind) – Equal Parts
- Distilled White Vinegar – Equal Parts
- Scrub Brush Dishwand
How to Make it:
This DIY homemade shower cleaner recipe is so easy to make, and is so inexpensive! You can find these ingredients in any supermarket or grocery store. It is so much cheaper than store bought shower cleaner and is much safer. All you need to do to make this recipe is fill your sponge bottle with equal parts detergent and vinegar. If you have extremely stubborn soap scum buildup you can heat the vinegar for an even deeper clean. I recommend keeping your sponge bottle in the shower and giving your shower a quick, daily scrub-down to minimize any soap scum buildup.
This is my new go-to shower cleaner! I would love to hear how it works for you!
