Spending time in God’s Word first thing in the morning is a wonderful way to start your day. Those few, precious moments of alone time reading scripture allow for a more peaceful and focused morning. Here are 19 wonderful bible verses to start your day!
1. Psalms 118:24 (All of Psalms 118 is great!)
“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
2. 2 Timothy 1:7
“For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
3. Psalms 143:8
“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.”

“In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”
6. Ephesians 6:11

Also, all of Psalms 91 is great and I like to make it personal and say “I and My family”, etc when I am reading and reciting it.
