Once Christmas is over, I start dreaming of warm weather and spring decor!

If you are like me, you can’t wait for warm spring weather and spring decorating! All during February, I start thinking about and planning for the first day of March, which is my “official”, “it’s not too early and I can’t wait another minute” time to bring in the spring décor and goodies!

And, I always like to start with the dining room, so here are some simple and cost effective things I did to make over my dining room for spring!

Blue and White Spring Decor

The first thing I start looking for is a new runner for my table! The size you need will depend on the size of your table. For my table, I went with a 12”x90” which allows the runner to hang off both ends of my table an extra 6 inches. I knew I wanted to bring in the Blue and white, to match my Dining room rug, and was so excited when I found this beauty on Amazon! And, it was at a great price too!!

Next, I started hunting for place mats. I decided to go with round mats, to go along with my round tiered tray that sits in the center of my table. These blue place mats were exactly what I was looking for!

I knew I wanted to use my new vintage style Corelle Chip Resistant Dinnerware, but I needed white charger plates to go under them, and these were exactly what I was looking for.

I am obsessed with the blue chairs I got to go on each end of my table (you can find my blue dining chairs here), but I wanted to dress them up a bit for spring! I found the perfect pillow covers, that really brought out my blue and white theme, and fit my chairs perfectly!

Lastly, I found some cute, little knick knacks to go on my farmhouse style tiered tray. I put together a cute, simple floral arrangement with some leftover faux flowers I had, added a few birds and bunnies to give it a spring vibe, and my spring dining room makeover is now complete!

Yay…my dining room is spring ready! Now I’m just waiting on the warmer weather… but when you live in Alabama, you don’t have to wait too long! Have you started your spring decorating yet?
