This year’s most popular color trends are taken from nature, with Sea Foam, Ocean Blue and shades of green promising to be very popular this season!

There is no need to panic!  You don’t have to repaint your house to be in style! There are plenty of easy ways to bring nature indoors this season. Here are some simple ways to add a touch of spring to your home.

Faux plants and florals are a great way to bring nature indoors!

I’ve added a Ficus tree, and a few artificial plants in my living room. Small boxwood plants, a succulent arrangement, or a centerpiece filled with mixed faux greenery will make your area feel warm and inviting.

Here are some simple ways to add a touch of spring to your home.

I was excited to use green in my living room this spring and found some lovely, green pillow covers from Amazon that were exactly what I was looking for! To those, I added a couple of “Boho” type pillow covers that are white, green, and a beautiful shade of blue that remind me of the blue/green ocean water at our favorite beach resort!

Spruce up a living room for spring

Adding some natural elements such as wicker, water hyacinth, and wood really help to bring everything together in my living room. I love to have several throws and blankets close by for snuggling under when watching TV, but I don’t like leaving them out when they aren’t in use. So, a large water hyacinth basket is perfect for storing my throws/blankets. I do leave one throw out, that matches my green pillow covers perfectly! (This throw is my favorite because it is so soft!!)

I was pretty happy with the way everything looked with these few updates for Spring, but still felt my mantle needed something! A 6’ boxwood garland and a 6’ mixed fabric tie garland hung together, were exactly what I was looking for! Now my living room is ready for spring!

By using the colors you see in Nature, and adding a few new pieces to your home, you can have abeautiful and trendy home this Spring!
