This No-Bake Lemon Dessert is a delicious low-carb and low sugar treat that will make your taste buds say “thank you”!
If you are like me, you are constantly looking for ways to satisfy your sweet tooth without tons of added sugar, and this recipe is a great way to do it. This no-bake lemon dessert is easy to make, and only has three simple ingredients. It tastes a lot like an old fashioned lemon pie, without all the extra sugar.
You can make this sugar free dessert in any flavor you would like, I just happen to LOVE lemon (strawberry is delicious too). Occasionally, I will make my favorite low carb pie crust to go along with this, but it’s great with or without a pie crust.
Ingredients Needed for This Recipe:
- Sugar Free Lemon Jello (or any flavor gelatin)
- Sugar Free Cool Whip (one 8 ounce container)
- 1 (8 ounce) Package of Cream Cheese
- 1/2 Cup of Water
STEP ONE: Add your cream cheese and whipped topping to a large mixing bowl and mix until smooth. I find that it mixes better if the cream cheese is room temp.
STEP TWO: Boil 1/2 cup of water. Slowly sprinkle in gelatin and mix until dissolved. Cool gelatin mixture to room temperature.
STEP THREE: Add gelatin mixture to cream cheese and whipped topping mixture. Cream together until smooth.
STEP FOUR: Pour into a pie plate and refrigerate for two or more hours.
STEP FIVE: Cut into pie shaped slices and enjoy!
