This southern cornbread recipe is a family favorite. It is fluffy and delicious! This is the recipe that my Bigmama always made for our family. It is made in a cast-iron skillet and it is so good!

My Bigmama was a true southern lady. She loved to cook delicious southern meals for her family, and she always had a pie or cake that she had baked for dessert. She passed away at the age of ninety-four. I sure do miss her and her good, southern cooking. I am so glad she shared this family recipe with me.
